The criminal laws are enforced by the government which is unlike the civil laws. There is also an international code of conduct for the criminal laws. The public international law only deals with the increasing rate of the criminal conducts that can be frightening, cruel and also atrocious and affect the rights of the entire societies and regions. The modern international criminal laws that exist today are the result of the famous Nuremberg trials which started after the Second World War. There was a new international crime court that had been set up in The Hague under the Roman statute. This court takes care of the heads and members of the various government and ruling organisations. But there are many countries that have still not taken part in them like U.S, Yemen, Libya and many more.
The United States all the criminal prosecutions are initiated by the complaints that are issued by the judge or the indictment of the grand jury. The criminal laws include various kinds of punishable crimes like Crimes against people which include assault, robbery, sexual offences, rape, kidnapping, manslaughter, murder and other such crimes. It also includes the crime against property like criminal damage, theft, burglary and deception. Crimes against justice like bribery, conspiracies and other different kinds of crimes also come in the same category of criminal laws.
